Sometimes, when we can’t figure out how to decorate a space, we want to call a friend to come over and just tell us what to do. What to hang, what to buy, where to put furniture.
I started Design + Love because I want to be that friend. I want to make a plan for you to execute so that you can have a space that really makes you happy.
Another reason I created Design + Love is because design work is too expensive. There has to be a way to bring good design to people with all sorts of budgets. By creating a design/DIY hybrid, we can keep the cost of professional design low.
This design model takes a bit of elbow grease, but having your plan laid out for you step-by-step makes that effort enjoyable. And at the end you can say, “Thanks, I did it myself.”
